UA: У статті розглядаються особливості мовних і стильових засобів у творах В. Вордсворта і С. Кольріджа . В. Вордсворт прагнув розширити рамки традиційної поезії, наповнивши її психологічною глибиною, значно відновивши і в той же час спростивши арсенал її художніх засобів. Більшість творівС. Кольріджа написані віршованимрозміроманглійських народних балад, з прийомами форм-повторень. У цілому, поезія автора об’єднуємузичні, словесні іживописні можливості з метою повнішої передачі відчуттів, настроїв, душевного стану людини.

EN: Peculiarities of language and style are examined in W. Wordsworth’s and S. Coleridge’s works. W. Wordsworth tried to expand the frames of traditional poetry, having filled it with psychological depth, considerably having updated it and at the same time having simplified an arsenal of its art means. The majority of S.Coleridge’s works are written by a meter of English folk songs, with means of form repetitions. On the whole, the authors’ poetry unites musical, verbal and picturesque possibilities with the purpose of more complete rendering of feelings, moods, states of mind of a person.
