C traction motors (DCTM) are constantly exposed to dynamic, mechanical and electromagnetic loads during operation. Early detection of nascent damage in DC collector machines will prevent the problems of unforeseen DCTM breakdowns. Therefore, in the conditions of physical aging of traction rolling stock, monitoring and implementation of modern methods and means of diagnosing DCTMs and maintaining their suitability for operation based on monitoring their actual state in real-time is an urgent scientific and applied research problem.uk_UA
