| Abstract: | Modern telecommunications networks require high adaptability to changes: traffic variations, user mobility, interference and equipment failures. The concept of self-organisation (SON) allows for the automation of a significant part of the operational life cycle of networks (auto-configuration, autooptimisation, self-healing), reducing the need for manual configuration and speeding up service recovery. |
