Every society forms its own system of values that defines not only the perception of oneself and one’s place in the social environment but also the attitude toward rights, duties, relationships with others, and the state as a socio- political institution. The values of any society are not static; they are subject to transformation under the influence of social, economic, cultural, and other factors. The analysis of Norwegian social values is particularly interesting because of the existing dissonance between Norway’s reputation as a country with a high standard of living, prosperity, and gender equality, and the challenges it faces due to multiculturalism, inequality, and the coexistence of different value systems.uk_UA
