Предиктивна та сценарна аналітика у стратегічному управлінні підприємствами залізничного транспорту

Abstract

UA: У статті досліджено роль предиктивної та сценарної аналітики у стратегічному управлінні підприємствами залізничного транспорту. Обґрунтовано обмеженість традиційних методів економічного аналізу в умовах невизначеності та кризових впливів. Розкрито можливості використання прогнозних і сценарних підходів для підвищення обґрунтованості управлінських рішень, фінансової стійкості та адаптивності розвитку залізничних підприємств.

EN: The article analyzes the application of predictive and scenario analytics in the strategic management of railway transport enterprises under conditions of uncertainty. The study is motivated by the limitations of traditional retrospective economic analysis, which does not provide sufficient support for long-term managerial decision-making in a volatile economic and institutional environment. The research demonstrates that predictive analytics, based on economic and mathematical modeling and data-driven methods, enables forecasting of key performance indicators, including traffic volumes, financial results, cost dynamics, and investment requirements. This approach supports proactive strategic planning and improves the ability of management to anticipate structural changes and risks affecting railway enterprises. Scenario analytics is examined as a complementary tool that allows the modeling of alternative development trajectories depending on changes in macroeconomic conditions, regulatory frameworks, infrastructure availability, and crisis-related factors. The use of scenario-based approaches enhances strategic flexibility and reduces the probability of ineffective long-term decisions. The integration of predictive and scenario analytics is shown to provide a coherent analytical framework for strategic management. Such integration improves the quality of investment planning, strengthens risk management, and supports the development of adaptive and resilient strategies. The findings confirm that advanced analytics transforms analytical work from a descriptive reporting function into a strategic decision-support mechanism, contributing to financial stability and long-term competitiveness of railway transport enterprises.
