Modernization of transport infrastructure in the context of European Union integration

Abstract

The modernization of transport infrastructure is one of the key directions for ensuring economic growth and enhancing national competitiveness in the context of European integration [1, 7]. For countries aiming to align with the European Union, the transformation of the transport system is not only an economic necessity but also a strategic priority driven by the need to integrate into the pan-European transport space [2, 5, 9]. In this regard, it is essential to bring national transport infrastructure in line with EU standards, which include technical, environmental, organizational, and safety requirements.
