The intellectual business paradigm in railway transportation: innovation and digitalization strategies

Abstract

Under the conditions of martial law and post-war reconstruction, Ukraine's railway transport has emerged as a critical factor in national security. Despite continuous infrastructure destruction, the sector requires systemic modernization to integrate into the European Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T). The relevance of this study lies in the transition from a resource-intensive operational model to an "intellectual business" paradigm based on high-tech IT solutions, which is capable of ensuring the competitiveness of the railway system amidst the digitalization of global supply chains.
