Considerations of the Human Factor in the Оperation of the Railway Transport

Abstract

The human factor has always been and continues to be one of the most important factors in traffic safety during the operation of railway transport. It is one of the prerequisites that can lead to the negative consequences in the operation of the railway. In railway transport, the term «human factor» is mostly interpreted as the lack of professional competence of individual railway employees. Therefore, an important prerequisite for railway safety is constant monitoring of the professional competence of railway workers.
