Будівельний бізнес: основні тренди та виклики під час воєнного стану

Abstract

UA: Будівельний бізнес залишається одним з ключових в економіці країни. У статті висвітлено питання, пов'язані з важливістю забезпечення ефективної діяльності та тривалого розвитку підприємств будівельної галузі в умовах воєнних дій. Зазначено, що головними викликами будівельного бізнесу сьогодні є зниження попиту на нове житло в прифронтових регіонах, загальна нестабільність та нестача інвестицій. Окреслено, що будівельна індустрія не лише забезпечує створення нових робочих місць і залучення інвестицій, а й суттєво впливає на розвиток суміжних сфер, таких як виробництво будівельних матеріалів, транспорт, торгівля та послуги. Висвітлено основні аспекти розвитку ринку будівельних матеріалів, як одного з ключових складових будівельного бізнесу. Відзначено, що розвиток майбутнього даного сектору визначатиметься впровадженням інновацій, підвищенням енергоефективності і залученням інвестицій у проєкти, пов'язані з інфраструктурою.

EN: The construction sector in Ukraine remains one of the key components of the economy, offering significant contracts and numerous opportunities for development. This industry is traditionally considered one of the largest and most profitable in the country. It occupies an important place in the structure of the national economy, playing a critical role in its growth and modernization. The construction industry not only creates new jobs and helps attract investment, but also significantly influences the development of related sectors, in particular, the production of building materials, transport, trade and the service sector. Unfortunately, as a result of Russia's military aggression, industrial, social infrastructure and residential buildings are being destroyed every day in Ukraine. The restoration of infrastructure and the provision of housing needs of the population largely depend on the efficiency of the construction industry. Given the situation, the issues of solving problems in the construction industry and determining the prospects for its further development in Ukraine are becoming particularly relevant. Today, the construction sector of Ukraine is demonstrating sustainable growth, successfully adapting to modern challenges. Rebuilding infrastructure, applying the latest technologies and transitioning to sustainable construction principles are becoming the basis for the promising development of the industry. If the current pace of development continues, in 2026 the market has every chance of increasing by 10%. In this regard, the industry retains strategic importance for the country's economic growth. However, for the further development of the construction sector, it is necessary to overcome a number of problems. Among the main challenges are the shortage of building materials that were previously imported from Russia or the production of which was stopped due to military operations; the lack of an effective system for the disposal and reuse of construction waste; as well as the shortage of qualified specialists. To address these issues, it is important to invest in the restoration and expansion of production capacities, the launch of new enterprises and the improvement of the training system in the construction sector. An assessment of the current situation shows that the positive dynamics in the construction industry in 2025 was achieved thanks to the restoration of territories after the liberation from occupation, the adaptation of business to martial law conditions, the support of international partners and the creation of new logistics routes. The activation of this sphere will be facilitated by a positive impact on the economy of Ukraine, increased well-being of the population, the creation of new jobs and an increase in the production of building materials, as well as the opening of new enterprises.
