Складові концепції сталого розвитку в контексті глобальних соціально-економічних та екологічних викликів

Abstract

UA: Досліджено концепцію сталого розвитку як інтегровану модель поєднання економічних, соціальних та екологічних складових. Розглянуто сучасні виклики реалізації концепції сталого розвитку, зокрема проблеми нерівності, екологічних загроз, інформаційної прозорості та ефективного державного управління. Визначено ключові напрями досягнення довгострокової стабільності та збалансованого розвитку в умовах глобальних викликів сучасності, цифрової трансформації та необхідності посилення міжнародної співпраці.

EN: The article examines the concept of sustainable development as one of the leading paradigms of contemporary global development and international policy. The study analyzes the main components of sustainable development—economic, social, and environmental—and emphasizes their interdependence in shaping an effective model for the development of modern society. It is argued that the implementation of sustainable development principles requires a comprehensive and integrated approach that combines economic efficiency, social justice, and environmental responsibility. The paper highlights the importance of cooperation between the state, business sector, and civil society institutions in establishing an effective system of governance for sustainable development. Particular attention is given to the role of democratic governance mechanisms, transparency in public policy, and citizen participation in decision-making processes, which contribute to the formation of a responsible and balanced development model. The economic dimension of sustainable development is considered through the implementation of rational resource use, energy efficiency, and innovative technologies, as well as through the development of the green and circular economy as important directions of modern economic policy. Special emphasis is placed on the social dimension of sustainable development, which includes ensuring a decent standard of living, access to quality education, healthcare services, and an effective social protection system. The role of education, culture, and the development of intellectual potential in strengthening human capital and fostering innovation capacity is also discussed. Furthermore, the environmental dimension of sustainable development is analyzed, focusing on the preservation of natural resources, maintenance of ecological balance, and reduction of the negative impact of human activities on the environment. The study also considers the role of international initiatives, particularly the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which define the strategic priorities for global development until 2030. The research substantiates the necessity of integrating economic, social, and environmental strategies into a unified system of strategic planning aimed at ensuring long-term stability and sustainable development of society.
