N: This paper addresses the problem of optimizing inventory management and warehousing logistics for locomotive depots under conditions of information deficiency and uncertainty regarding the condition of rolling stock. As traditional planned-preventive maintenance strategies have exhausted their efficiency, organizing an effective repair infrastructure requires rational resource allocation and optimal stocking of critical units. To structure logistics decisionmaking processes for inventory formation, a mathematical model based on game theory and statistical decision-making has been developed. Determining the optimal size of the circulating stock for locomotive components is carried out using a multi-criteria analysis framework. The study employs the maximin criterion to guarantee a minimum payoff under worst-case scenarios, the minimax risk criterion to minimize maximum opportunity loss, and the pessimism-optimism criterion to formulate a balanced strategy. A significant contribution is the justification of an algorithm for dynamically adjusting supply strategies based on Bayes' theorem. This approach allows recalculating a posteriori probabilities of component failures after receiving additional diagnostic information, treated as a new experiment. The economic feasibility of acquiring such information is proven, provided data collection costs do not exceed calculated marginal operational gains. The study emphasizes that despite the fundamental nature of classical mathematical optimization, global trends dictate a shift towards data-driven models and predictive maintenance. The proposed approach exhibits high potential for integration with digital twin technologies and predictive diagnostic systems. By linking game-theory matrices with real-time diagnostic data streams from digital twins, operators can dynamically update equipment probability states and automate operational decisionmaking for replenishing depot inventories. This integration mitigates part shortage risks, eliminates unnecessary stockpiling, and significantly enhances the economic efficiency and sustainability of the railway repair infrastructure.-
