Abstract

UA: У статті розглядаються основні етапи становлення та розвитку наукових шкіл, досягнення та розробки кафедри, їх характеристики та галузь застосування. Надається загальна характеристика наукових лабораторій кафедри та перспективні напрямки розвитку наукової діяльності.

EN: The article provides a brief historical background, discusses the main stages in the development of scientific schools of department of construction, track and cargo handling machines, creative communications with scientific schools and industrial enterprises of Ukraine and other countries. Lists all major scientific and technological advances and development of the department, their characteristics and field of application. Is given the general characteristic of the scientific-research laboratories of the department, their purposes, types of activity, technical equipment. Revealed promising directions of department scientific activity given the current development of mechanical engineering, rail transport and construction.
