| Abstract: | EN: The article examines the modernization of a boiler house and the transition to a reduced-temperature operating schedule of the heating networks of a school located in the Kharkiv district. The economic efficiency of transitioning to a fourth-generation district heating system is considered through the change from a 95/70 °C temperature schedule to a 55/40 °C temperature schedule. A comparison of hydraulic and thermal losses in heating networks constructed from steel and non-metallic pipelines is carried out. Methods for reducing the heat carrier flow rate in heating networks are also considered. |
